保存条件Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

NKX1-2 (NK1 Homeobox 2) is a Protein Coding gene. GO annotations related to this gene include sequence-specific DNA binding. An important paralog of this gene is NKX1-1.

Function:
May function in cell specification, particularly in the CNS.

Subcellular Location:
Nucleus.

Tissue Specificity:
Expression detected in adult brain, testis and spleen. In the testis, expressed in the germ cells of the seminiferous epithelium, in elongating spermatids and in spermatozoa. Expressed throughout the brain with highest levels in regions of the cerebral cortex, hippocampus, diencephalon, pons, medulla and cerebellum. In the embryo, expressed in the developing posterior central nervous system. First seen in the ectoderm lateral to the primitive streak, later it encompasses the neural plate. Starting at day 9.5 pc, expressed in distinct areas of spinal cord, hindbrain, midbrain and forebrain.

Post-translational modifications:
Phosphorylated by HIPK2 in vitro.

Similarity:
Belongs to the NK-1 homeobox family.
Contains 1 homeobox DNA-binding domain.
